January 18, 2011, Bruce Mills was recognized with the Ronald D. Pearson Citizenship Award. The reception was held at Hy-VeeFood Stores in Faribault, MN. He accumulated 250 hours of community involvement. He volunteered for many different groups. He plans to always be involved in every community that he lives in the future.

August 6, 2008, Don Mills died. Father to Bruce Mills and Connie Clemens. He was married to Mary Ann Mills for 57 years. He also has five grand-kids; Becca Mills, Matt Mills, Amber Clemens, Amber Clemens and Ashley Clemens. His son-in-law is Mike Clemens. He was my inspiration to start Mills Way.
